August 1, Zurich. Vinc and his accomplices plan an attack on a busy shopping street to make a statement against capitalism in Switzerland. Meanwhile, Edi, a gamekeeper, finds his peaceful life upended as a financial crisis forces him to question his morals. Sonam begins her first day as a police officer and soon confronts the darker side of the job. Full of hope, Sonja, a young Ukrainian woman, arrives in Zurich to surprise the love of her life. Javier, feeling out of place in Switzerland, decides to return to Chile, taking his daughter with him—without her mother’s knowledge.
