Olga was born in 1985 in Riga and grew up in Latvia and Israel. At 15, she moved to Switzerland. By 22, she had completed her acting studies at the European Film Actor School in Zurich. Her first television role came in 2007 in the SRF TV series TAG UND NACHT, followed by numerous appearances in film and television, including feature films such as MARIJA by Michael Koch, ISPANSI! by Carlos Iglesias, and NIGHTFALL by Simon Aeby.

In 2011, Olga began her Bachelor’s studies in Film at the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK), graduating in 2014 with her short film LUFTSCHLOSS which went on to be nominated for the Studio Hamburg Newcomer Award in 2016.

From 2014 to 2016, Olga continued her studies at ZHdK, earning a Master’s degree in Screenwriting. During this time, she wrote the screenplay for the short film AQUARIUM, directed by Cosima Frei and co-produced by Swiss Television, as well as for the feature film PERIPHERIE, contributing the episode “Sonja.” PERIPHERIE premiered at the 2016 Zurich Film Festival and was nominated for the “Prix du Public” at the Solothurn Film Festival.

In 2023, Olga directed her first feature film, BEHIND THE GLASS - a Snakefilm production in co-production with Tasse Film Latvia and Swiss Radio and Television.
